To Unsecure for Calibration
You can unsecure the power supply either from the front panel or over the remote
interface. The power supply is secured when shipped from the factory. See the table
3-1 for the factory setting secure code for your power supply.
1 Select the calibration mode.
If the power supply is secured, the above message is displayed as you turn on the
power supply by holding down (
Calibrate) key and hold down the key until
you hear a long beep. And a message ‘CAL MODE’ is displayed.
2 Enter the security code.
Enter the security code using the control knob and resolution selection keys.
3 Save the change and exit the menu.
You will see the above message if the security code is correct. And a message ‘CAL
MODE’ is displayed. To exit the calibration mode, turn the power off and on.
Notice that if you enter the wrong secure code, “INVALID” is displayed and the code
entering mode is displayed for you to enter the correct code.
Remote Interface Operation:
CAL:SEC:STAT {OFF|ON},<code> Secure or unsecure the power supply
To unsecure the power supply, send the above command with the same code used
to secure. For example,
‘‘CAL:SEC:STAT OFF, 003646’’’ (E3646A model)
