the
instrument
to
display
the
most
recent
uncleared
error
number
and
a
short
description
of
the
error
to
the
front
panel
display
.
When
uncleared
error
messages
are
in
the
error
queue
,
the
front panel
MSG
annunciator
will
be
lit.
The
MSG
annunciator
will
remain
lit
until
all error
messages
in
the
queue
have
been
cleared.
When
an
error
is
read using
the
4
MSG
5
key
,
it
is
cleared
as
long
as
the
error
condition
no
longer exists
.
When
the
4
MSG
5
key
is
pressed,
the
most
recent
error
in
the
error
queue
will
be
displayed.
Successive
presses
of
the
4
MSG
5
key
will
display
any
other
errors
in
the
queue
.
Pressing
any
function
key
will remove
the error
from the
display
.
When
the
synthesizer
is set
to the
preset
state
,
the
error
queue
is
cleared.
Equivalent
SCPI
Command
SYST:ERR?
returns
the
oldest
uncleared
error
number
and
message
that
is
in the
error queue
.
