Dynamic Mode
In dynamic mode the IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway values
are obtained from a DHCP server. When you use DHCP operation you can-
not configure the IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway values
from the front panel.
Using this dynamic mode does not require a detailed knowledge of your
network configuration.
1 Using a standard LAN patch cable, connect both the computer and the
power meter to LAN outlets.
2 Turn the power on the power meter.
3 Press ,
Remote Interfaces to display the Remote Interface display.
Ensure that DHCP to ON (ON is the factory default state).
To enable DHCP operation using the arrow and Select keys to highlight
and check DHCP is checked.

If the DHCP server cannot be found on your network, the power meter returns to the AutoIP
mode, then static mode.
