What to do if my Air King BFQ does not operate when the switch is on?
    • P
      pamela41Jul 26, 2025
If your Air King Fan isn't working when switched on, several factors could be at play. It's possible a fuse has blown or a circuit has tripped; in this case, replace the fuse or reset the circuit breaker. Another potential cause is that the connector plug from the motor isn't properly connected. To resolve this, turn off the power, remove the grill, and ensure the motor is securely plugged into the receptacle in the housing, then restore power. Also, check the wiring connections to ensure they are properly connected. In some instances, the motor itself may have stopped working, requiring a replacement.

How to fix an Air King Fan when it's operating, but air moves slower than normal?
    • K
      Kristin SanchezAug 6, 2025
If your Air King Fan is running but the airflow is weaker than usual, there may be an obstruction in the exhaust ducting. Check for any blockages, such as bird nests, in the roof or wall cap where the fan exhausts to the outside.

Why is my Air King BFQ Fan operating louder than normal?
    • M
      Michelle MoralesAug 15, 2025
If your Air King Fan is louder than usual, the motor might be loose. Turn off the power, remove the grill, and check that all screws are fully tightened. Restore power to the unit. If the fan blade is hitting the housing of the unit, call your dealer for service.
