SPECIFICATIONS

DISASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

To Remove Wooden Cover

Remove six screws to detach the wooden cover.

To Remove Chassis

Pull off control knobs and remove six screws to detach the chassis.

To Remove Jack-1 Circuit Board

Remove nuts and unsolder capacitor lead to detach Jack-1 circuit board.

To Remove Rec./Pb Circuit Board

Remove three screws to detach the Rec./Pb circuit board.

To Remove Dolby-NR Circuit Board

Pull off the Dolby-NR circuit board for removal.

To Remove Jack-2 Circuit Board

Remove nut/washer and six screws to detach Jack-2 circuit board.

NEW CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION

Point Peak Indicators

System using two peak indicators for accurate peak indication.

Hall IC Tape End Detector Circuit

Uses magnet and Hall IC to replace mechanical contact tape end detectors.

ADJUSTMENTS

Thrust Adjustment

Adjust flywheel vertical position for 0.2-0.3mm thrust.

Pinch Pressure

Measure pinch pressure when pinch roller separates from capstan.

Supporting Plate Assembly Adjustments

Adjustments for damper and supporting plate assembly.

Tape Running

Adjust tape to avoid contact with tape guide.

CrO2 Lock Plate

Adjust CrO2 lock plate separation for cassette elevating plate.
