Using
the
BACK
WARD
Button
The
BACKWARD
button
comes
in
extremely
handy
when
creating
sounds.
When
it
is
pressed
while
a
certain
parameter
is
being
edited,
the
display
returns
to
the
previous
parameter.
The
parameter
changes
back
each
time
the
button
is
pressed.
Variations
in

The
two
VCOs
in
the
EWV2000
can
be
operated
synchronously. This
function
makes
it
possible
to
create
a
variety
of
sound
source
wave
forms.
The
"OSC-1"
parameters
include
a
"SYNCHRONIZE"
parameter.
Turn
this
on.
Parameter
being
edited
Ex.:

:OFF
BACK

SYNCHRONIZE

ON
VCF-EG
SUSTN:

the
VCF
and
VCA
levels
etc.
so
that
the
source
1
and
source
2
sounds
are
produced
simultaneously.
Next
play
with
different
wave
forms
set for
OSC-1
and
OSC-2.
You
should
be
able
to
discover
a
lot
of
different
sounds.
In
particular,
controlling
the
VCO
pulse
widths
provides
even
greater
variations.
This
synchronized
operation
is
quite
effective.
Try
changing
the
OSC-2
"FREQ"
parameter
-
the
OSC-l
pitch
will
change
simultan,
ously.
Also
control
the
OSC-2
"OSC-EG
DEPTH"
parameter
so
th_
you
understand
the
effect.
The
"EG"
parameters
for
the
VCFs
are
used
for
the
"OSC-EG"
parameters
for
the
VCOs.
