playback
the
quick
finder tunction
can be
used to
vis-
ually
locate any
point
on
a recorded
tape.
During
quick
tinder
playback
the
picture
will
go
forwards or backwards
rapidly.
Disturbances
in the
quickfinder
picture
are normaland
do
not
indicate a
problem
with the VCR.

(play,
still, slow,
etc.)
press
thefast
torward
(cue)>>or rewind
(review) << button.
There are
two ways
to
operate
the
quick
linder
mode One
way
is to keep the button
held down untilyou
reach the
part
that
you
want to watch,
and when
you
release
it
playback
starts automatically.
The second
way
is to
press
the
button
quickly
and
when
you
reach
the
part
that
you
wantto watch,
press
the
PlaY
button.
Note:
.
The
quick
tinder
reverse
playback
can be
switched
directly
from the
quick
finder
forward
playback
by
pressing
the
re-
wind button
and
vice versa.
This
feature
is
especially
uselul when
playing
back
rental
taDes.
When
the
power
is off and a
rental
tape is inserted
into
the
VCR, it is automatically
rewound to
the beginning
ot the
tape
The blank
space at
the beginning
ol the
tape is skipped
and
playback
begins
automatically
from
the recorded
section.
When the
movie is
finished and
the unrecorded
space
at the
end
is reached.
the tape will be
rewound
to the beginning,
ejected
and
the
power
switched
off.

may appear
on
the scleen.
In this case, adjust
the
tracking
manually until
you get
the
clearest
Picture.
The
playback picture
may roll. ln
this case, adjust
the
pic-
turewith
the TV's
verticalhold
knob
(with
someTVsthisad-
justment
may
not be
Possible).
The colour of
the
playback
picture
may differtrom
the orig-
inal.
In the cue,
review and still
modes,
there may be
no colour,
depending
on the
combination
of TV and
VCR.
There will be
no colour during
the NTSC
EP
(long
play)
mode.
