This
procedure
can be used to check that the PS
and
guide
channel numbers are
correctly entered
into
the remote con-
trol.
It can also be used to reset
the
remote
control it
you
move to
another
area where the PS and
guide
channel
numbers
are
different.
In order to
operate G-CODE recording, each TV station is
as-
signed a G-CODE
guide
channel
number.
For example, SBS
may
be assigned to
guide
channel 28. lf
you
have
a
list
oI
the
guide
channel numbers, in
your
TV
magazine etc.,
you
can
programme
the remote control in advance
and step
4
on the
prevaous
page
can be omitted.
The
example below supposes that
you
have
settheVCRto
re-
ceive SBS on PS
channel 0 and that the G-CODE ouide num-
ber
is
28.

PS number:
