Why does my AKG Microphone system have noise and crackling?
    • C
      Crystal SimmonsJul 30, 2025
Noise and crackling in your AKG Microphone system might be due to the antenna location. Try relocating the receiver. It could also be interference from other wireless systems, TV, radio, CB radios, or defective electrical appliances. In that case, switch off any interference sources or defective appliances. Alternatively, use a WMS 40 tuned to a different frequency or have your electrical installation checked.

What to do if my AKG Microphone system has distortion?
    • G
      Gabrielle RichardsAug 10, 2025
If you are experiencing distortion with your AKG Microphone system, especially with a bodypack transmitter, the GAIN control might be set too high or too low. Adjust the GAIN control until the distortion stops. Another potential cause could be interference from other wireless systems, TV, radio, CB radios, or defective electrical appliances. Try switching off these interference sources or defective appliances, or use a WMS 40 tuned to a different frequency. If the issue persists, have your electrical installation checked.
