  If your AL-KO Water Pump motor isn't running, here are a few potential causes: * **No mains power:** Check the fuses and have the power supply inspected by a qualified electrician. * **Impeller blocked:** Remove any dirt in the suction area. Clean through the opening at the back of the motor housing using a suitable tool. * **Thermal protection switch has switched off:** Wait for the thermal protection switch on the immersion pump to switch back on. Be mindful of the maximum temperature of the conveying medium and have the pump inspected. * **Float switch does not switch off when the water level rises:** Send the immersion pump to an AL-KO service facility.
