  If the hydraulic cylinder isn't working, first, check the hydraulic fluid level using the sight gauge on the tank. Next, verify the pump's functionality by testing another cylinder or a pressure gauge. If the pump works, check the line pressure, as the relief valve might be bypassing fluid at low pressures. If the cylinder still fails, inspect the line for blockages. Finally, if the pistons are scored, replace the cylinder.

  If the hydraulic motor is not working, check the lines for any kinks or pinched areas that might be restricting flow. If the motor struggles under load, double-check the relief valve setting on the cutter valve, ensuring it's set to 2500 P.S.I.

  Failures in the hydraulic system are often caused by elements other than the valve itself. Therefore, the entire system should be inspected before replacing the valve. If a section of the hydraulic valve malfunctions, replace that specific section, not the entire valve bank, because the internal parts are precisely fitted. Attachments like relief valves and the detent can be serviced individually.

  Failure in structural members typically results from rough handling. The factory warranty for these parts only covers normal use for cutting grass, weeds, brush, small bushes, and small trees, as the unit is designed.
