Change Mobile Hotspot Network Name
(SSID)
1. Access hp://mobile.hotspot or hp://192.168.0.1.
2. Click Sengs in the navigaon secon.
3. Select the Wi-Fi Sengs tab.
4. Change the name that appears in the Network Name (SSID)
eld in the Wi-Fi Sengs area.
5. Select or deselect the Broadcast Network Name checkbox
to enable or disable broadcasng the hotspot’s Network
Name (SSID).
6. Click Apply to save your changes on the Wi-Fi Sengs tab
of the Sengs screen.
Change Mobile Hotspot Wi-Fi Password
1. Access hp://mobile.hotspot or hp://192.168.0.1.
2. Click Sengs in the navigaon area.
3. Select the Wi-Fi Sengs tab.
4. Change the value that appears in the Password eld in
the SSID area.
5. Click Apply in the SSID area to save your changes on the
Wi-Fi Sengs tab of the Sengs screen.
How to use the Mobile Hotspot Whitelist
Funcon
Your mobile hotspot is equipped with a “whitelist” funcon
that will allow you to secure your network’s privacy. When this
funcon is acvated, only users that have been granted access
by adding user’s MAC address will be able to connect to the
network. When the primary user deacvates this feature, all
other users will be allowed access to the network via Wi-Fi and
use of correct password.
