  If your Alcatel Tablet won't switch on or is frozen, charge it for at least 20 minutes to ensure it has minimum battery power. Then, try switching it on again. If that doesn't work, press and hold the Power key to reset it. As an alternative, you can reset the device by pressing the Power key and the Volume up key at the same time until the screen lights up. Use the Volume up key to choose recovery mode, then the Volume key to select Wipe data/Factory reset, and the Power key to confirm each selection.

  If your Alcatel Tablet isn't charging properly, first, use the Alcatel charger that came with the device. Ensure the battery is correctly inserted and clean the battery contacts if they're dirty, inserting it before plugging in the charger. If the battery has been empty for a long time, it may take about 20 minutes for the charging indicator to appear. Charging should be done under normal conditions (0°C (32°F) to 40°C (104°F )). Also, check that the voltage input is compatible.

  If the battery on your Alcatel Tablet drains too fast, ensure you follow the complete charge time (minimum 240 minutes). Wait at least 20 minutes after removing the charger for an accurate battery level indication. Adjust the screen brightness as needed. Extend the email auto-check interval as much as possible and update news and weather manually or increase their auto-check interval. Close background apps when not in use and turn off Bluetooth or Wi-Fi when not needed.
