Common Drink Drive Limits and Blood Breath Ratios
PLEASE NOTE: Due to differing Blood Breath Ratios (see page 18–19)
used in different countries the same breath reading may equate to a
different blood reading in different countries. For example, a breath
reading of 0.25mg/L equals a blood alcohol reading of 0.50‰ BAC in
France, but in Scotland this would equal 0.575‰ BAC. You must ensure
you have set the correct Blood Breath Ratio (BBR), if you are not sure of
the BBR please set it to 2300:1. See page 18 to see how.
