Why is the glass on my Alderlea T6 getting dirty?

  The glass on your Alderlea Wood stove might be getting dirty due to several reasons: * The wood you're using is wet. To fix this, use dry wood. * You're turning down the air control or damper too soon. Don't adjust it until you have a good bed of coals and the wood is charred. * There's a draft issue, possibly due to improper chimney height or diameter. Consult your dealer. * The door gasket is leaking. Replace the gasket and check the latch for proper operation.

  If your Alderlea Wood stove isn't producing enough heat, it could be due to: * Using wet wood. Make sure to use dry wood. * The fire is too small. Build a larger fire. * There is a draft issue because the chimney is plugged or restricted. Inspect and clean the chimney.
