WARNING!
Risk of Injury!
Never use objects of any kind to clear jammed CDs/DVDs and
credit card or paper jams. Do not insert objects - such as knives,
scissors etc. - into the paper or CD/DVD/credit card feed slots.
Overload protection
The paper shredder is equipped with an overheat safeguard which switches off
the system in case of overload to prevent damage to the motor. In this case the
overheating indicator light
5
lights up.
1. When the overheat warning light lights up, disconnect the paper shredder
from the power supply.
2. Allow the paper shredder to cool down to room temperature.
3. After cooling down the paper shredder can be put back to use.

Paper is inserted
into the tray, but the

You may have inserted
the paper at an oblique

paper sensor is thus not
activated.
Insert the paper cor-
rectly into the slot
and make sure that
the paper sensor is
activated.
A paper jam occurs and
the device stops.
You are trying to feed
in more paper than the
shredder can handle.
Set the slide switch to
REV (Reverse) position
and pull the paper out
of the slot.
