When wet vacuuming, the floating safety switch (Fig. 5a - item

) closes when the
maximum tank level is reached. At the same time, the suction noise of the equipment
will change and become louder. You must then switch off the equipment and empty the
metal tank.

Unforeseen static electricity may build up whilst using this vacuum cleaner, which
may pass a static electric shock to the user. There is a piece of chain (Fig. 5b - item
Z
) on the bottom of the tank base to help prevent static build-up during use. A build
up of static electricity can produce a small electric shock, which when discharged
may cause injury to some people.
