The vacuum

not work
No power at the plug Check the power at the plug cable and fuse
Vacuum cleaner is switched off Switch the vacuum cleaner on
Vacuum cleaner is switched to
'Auto' position with no power
tool connected
Either connect a power tool and operate
the power tool to switch the vacuum
cleaner on, or set the switch to the 'ON'
setting to operate the vacuum cleaner.
Vacuum cleaner is switched
to 'Auto' position with a
power tool connected, but
does not work when the
power tool is turned on
Check the power tool for a failed fuse,
or not working
The vacuum cleaner works,
but there is no power to the

If the vacuum cleaner is still within
the 3 year warranty period, then
contact the after Sales support about a
warranty claim. If the vacuum cleaner
is outside of the warranty period, then
get an electrician or other competent
person to check it over
Vacuuming
performance

Dry working – Metal tank may
be full, pleated filter could be
blocked, or paper dirt bag
(if fitted) could be full
Empty the metal tank and either clean the
pleated filter and empty the paper dirt bag
(if fitted), or replace the pleated filter and
replace the paper dirt bag
Wet working – Metal tank may
be full, or foamed plastic filter
could be blocked
Empty the metal tank and either clean or
replace the foamed plastic filter
