Description
The major components of the pump models in the 7785 series
consist of an air-operated motor and a pump tube. The air motor
connects directly to the double-acting reciprocating pump tube.
These high-pressure non-divorced grease pumps (40:1 ratio)
are designed to deliver a range of greases (up to NLGI # 3) and
operate directly from their original drums or bulk containers*.
Models 7785 Series Comparison
Each pump model is designed with a pump tube length to
accommodate different size containers. See Figure 1.
Model 7785-MA is equipped with an air inlet and a material
outlet adapter with BSPP threads. See Table 1.
* Pump model 7785-A5 is operated in various type systems,
Refer to the section entitled Alternate Installation (Page 12) for
details.

How to fix an Alemite Water Pump that does not cycle?
    • D
      donna03Aug 13, 2025
If the Alemite Water Pump does not cycle, several factors could be at play. First, the air motor might not be functioning correctly; in this case, examine the air motor and either fix it or replace it. Second, the pump tube could be jammed or have loose parts inside; if this is the case, you should rebuild the pump tube. Lastly, there might not be enough air pressure; try increasing the air pressure to resolve this issue.

What to do if Alemite Water Pump cycles continuously or slowly?
    • L
      Laura BrewerAug 16, 2025
If your Alemite Water Pump cycles continuously or very slowly, there are a few potential reasons. The pump may have internal or external leaks, which require addressing the specific leak. Alternatively, the distribution system itself might be leaking; in this case, you should identify and fix the leak in the distribution system.

Why won't my Alemite Water Pump prime?
    • G
      gcarterAug 20, 2025
If the Alemite Water Pump will not prime, it could be due to a couple of reasons. One possibility is that the cycling speed is too high; try reducing the air pressure to decrease the cycling speed. Another reason could be internal leaks within the pump, see the Internal Leaks section for guidance.

What does it mean if I see product leakage at the weep hole in the Body of my Alemite Water Pump?
    • M
      melaniehendersonAug 25, 2025
If you notice product leaking from the weep hole in the Body of your Alemite Water Pump, it could be due to a damaged Seal or a damaged air motor piston rod. To address this, separate the pump tube from the air motor and replace the Seal. Also, inspect the piston rod and replace it if necessary.
