Medium-Pressure Stub Pump
Model 9668
Description
The major components of the model 9668 stub pump consists of
an air-operated motor and a pump tube. The air motor connects
directly to the double-acting reciprocating pump tube.
This medium-pressure stub pump (5:1 ratio) is designed to
deliver all grades of oil. The pump’s bung adapter [2 " NPTF (m)] *
allows installation directly onto original containers or bulk tanks.
Pump Extensions
Extensions that screw directly into the pump’s material inlet
allow the pump to accommodate different size drums and tanks.
Extensions are accessory items and are not included with the pump.

Why does my Alemite Water Pump cycle continuously and not stall?
    • D
      danielschroederAug 12, 2025
If your Alemite Water Pump won't stall and cycles more than once or twice an hour, several factors could be at play. It might need a break-in period; try operating it against moderate fluid pressure for up to one hour. Alternatively, there could be internal or external leaks, or leaks in the distribution system, which would need to be corrected. Also, ensure the extension is sufficiently tight and that thread sealant is properly applied to the male pipe threads.

How to troubleshoot a non-cycling Alemite Water Pump?
    • J
      joseph46Aug 15, 2025
If your Alemite Water Pump isn't cycling, it could be due to a few reasons. First, check the air motor; it might not be operating correctly and may need rebuilding or replacement. Another cause could be a jammed pump tube or loose components within it, requiring a pump tube rebuild. Lastly, ensure there's sufficient air pressure; if it's low, increase it.

What to do if my Alemite Water Pump will not prime?
    • T
      Todd FloresAug 19, 2025
If your Alemite Water Pump won't prime, consider these potential causes. First, excessive cycling speed could be the issue; try reducing the air pressure. Internal leaks could also be the problem. Lastly, check the extension to ensure it's sufficiently tight and that thread sealant is properly applied to the male pipe threads.

Why is my Alemite Water Pump cycling so fast?
    • S
      sabrinamirandaAug 23, 2025
If your Alemite Water Pump is cycling rapidly, it might be because the product source is empty; in that case, replenish the product. Also, check the extension to ensure it's sufficiently tight and that thread sealant is properly applied to the male pipe threads.

How to fix product leakage at the bottom of the Alemite Water Pump Body?
    • M
      Mark KlineAug 27, 2025
If you see product leaking at the bottom of the Body (6) of your Alemite Water Pump, the Tube (21) might not be tight enough; try tightening it into the Body (6). Alternatively, the O-Ring (17) could be damaged; in this case, separate the Tube (21) from the Body (6) and replace the O-Ring (17).

What to do if there's product leaking between the Alemite Water Pump Tube and Foot Valve?
    • G
      Gary GrossAug 30, 2025
If you notice product leakage between the Tube (21) and Foot Valve (27) on your Alemite Water Pump, the Foot Valve (27) might not be sufficiently tight; try tightening it into the Tube (21). Another possibility is a damaged O-Ring (26); if so, separate the Foot Valve (27) from the Tube (21) and replace the O-Ring (26).

Why is my Alemite Water Pump leaking product from the weep hole?
    • S
      shillSep 3, 2025
If you observe product leakage at the weep hole in the Body (6) of your Alemite Water Pump, it could be due to a damaged Seal (13); in that case, replace the Seal (13). Alternatively, the Rod (15) might be damaged; inspect the Rod (15) and replace it if necessary.

What causes air leakage at the weep hole in Alemite Water Pump?
    • M
      Michael WalkerSep 7, 2025
If you notice air leaking from the weep hole in the Body (6) of your Alemite Water Pump, it's likely due to a damaged Seal (11). Replace Seal (11) to resolve this issue.
