Starting and Driving
• Remove foot from the
accelerator pedal.
• Apply the footbrake to bring the
vehicle to a controlled stop.
• Apply the parking brake.
• Allow the engine to idle for 3 to
5 minutes to allow even
cooling.
• Turn off the ignition switch.
• Turn off the master switch.
• If the vehicle is laden, it should
also be secured by placing
chocks against the wheels.
• Apply the parking brake.
• Allow the engine to idle for a
few moments to allow even
cooling.
• Turn the ignition switch to OFF

• Turn off the master switch. This
must not be done before the
engine has stopped.
The emergency stop control is located
on the electrical connection box in the
left hand side of the engine
compartment, it is accessed through
the rear engine compartment door.
To stop the engine, push and hold the
red knob until the engine has stopped.
