A leaking shaft seal in your Alfa Laval Water Pump can be caused by several factors. It may be due to a dry run, requiring the replacement of all wearing parts. Another cause could be an incorrect rubber grade, in which case you should select a different rubber grade. Finally, abrasive particles in the liquid can cause this issue; for models MR-185S and -200S, consider selecting stationary and rotating seal rings made of silicon carbide/silicon carbide.
