whenbackingaloadedrear-dischargemixerdownagrade.Buttoo
muchbrakeapplication,particularlyonanunpavedsurface,can
lockthefrontbrakesandreducesteeringcontrol.Acrashcouldthen
occur.T ohelppreventinjuryorpropertydamage:
1.Driveforwarddownthegradeandthenexitbybackingupthe
gradewhenyoucandoso.
2.Ifequipped,usethetrailerbrakewhenbackingthemixerdown
agrade.Donotusethetrailerbrakeasaparkingbrakeonce
thevehicleisatthebottomofthegrade.
3.Ifatrailerbrakeisnotavailable,backthemixerdownthe
gradebymodulatingtheservicebrakestocontrolandmaintain
asafe,steadyvehiclespeed.Avoidabruptstopsandstarts.
