eitheractiveorhistoric.AnactiveDTCisaDTCthatiscurrentintheTCM
decision-makingprocess.HistoricDTCsareretainedintheTCMmemoryand
donotnecessarilyaffecttheTCMdecision-makingprocess.
6.3.1DISPLAYSEQUENCE.
UptoveDTCsmaybedisplayedoneatatimefromtheselectoroncethe
diagnosticdisplaymodehasbeeninitiatedbytheoperator.EachDTCis5
charactersinlength.TheDTCstatusactiveorinactiveisshownbelowthe
DTC(refertoFigure6–1).
