Connect to the Input Connectors of a Signal Processor or Power Amplifier.
24K GOLD-PLATED RCA Line Input Connectors
Connect to the Output Connectors of the Head Unit.
SUBWOOFER RCA OUTPUT CONNECTORS
Connect to the Output Connectors of the SUBWOOFER.
Phase Switch
In the "180" position, the subwoofer output is shifted 180°.
Stereo/Mono Switch
In
the
"MONO"
position,
the
Subwoofer
output
becomes
monaural.
® Battery Lead (YELLOW)
Connect
this
lead
to
the
positive
(+)
post
of
the
vehicle's
battery.
Do
not
use
existing wiring in the vehicle as a power source.
@ EQ/Surround Defeat In Lead (PINK/WHITE)
Applying
(+)12V
to
this
lead
defeats
the
Equalizer
and
Surround
modes.
When
the
3342
is
connected
to
an
Alpine
Head
Unit
with
an
Audio
Interrupt
Lead,
a
Cellular
Phone
equipped
with
Audio
Interface
output
will
also
mute
the
audio
output.
Removing
(+)12V
from
this
lead
deactivates
the
defeat
modes.
@ Remote In Lead (BLUE/WHITE)
Connect
this
lead
to
the
remote
turn-on
lead
of
your
head
unit.
Applying
(+)12V
to
this lead turns on the 3342.
® Ground Lead (BLACK)
Connect this lead to a good chassis ground.
NOTE: .
Secure
the
ground
lead
of
the
unit
to
bare
metal
on
the
car
chassis
using
a
sheet
metal
screw.
Use
an
ohmmeter
to
check
continuity
from
this
point
to
the
negative battery terminal.
