Applying
(+)12V
to
this
lead
defeats
the
Equalizer
and
Surround
modes.
When
the
3342
is
connected
to
an
Alpine
Head
Unit
with
an
Audio
Interrupt
Lead,
a
Cellular
Phone
equipped
with
Audio
Interface
output
will
also
mute
the
audio
output.
Removing
(+)12V
from
this
lead
deactivates
the
defeat
modes.

Remote
In
Lead
(BLUE/WHITE)
Connect
this
lead
to
the
remote
turn-on
lead
of
your
head
unit.
Applying
(+)12V
to
this
lead
turns
on
the
3342.
®
Ground
Lead
(BLACK)
Connect
this
lead
to
a
good
chassis
ground.
NOTE:

Secure
the
ground
lead
of
the
unit
to
bare
metal
on
the
car
chassis
using
a
sheet
metal
screw.
Use
an
ohmmeter
to
check
continuity
from
this
point
to
the
negative
battery
terminal.
