Seek
Tuning
1.
Turn
on
the
power
by
turning
the
VOLume
control/
pawer
switch
@
clockwise.
Continue
to
rotate
it
until
the
desired
volume
level
is
reached.
2.
Push
the
TUNER/BAND
select
switch
(8
for
reception
of
MW,
LW
or
FM
(FM
1
or
FM2).
The
Radio
Band
indicator
©
will
be
on,
and
the
ST
[stereo]
indicator
@@:
will
also
be
on
during
FM
stereo
reception.
3.
Adjust
the
BASS
©,
TREBle
@,
BALance
@,
and
FADer
controls
to
thair
déhter
»
positions.
©
4.
To
automatically
tune,
press
the
TUNE
switch
@
and
then
either
UP
@
or
DN
@
tuning
switch.
The
SEEK
indicator
@
appears
on
the
display
and
the
frequency
changes
to
-
indicate
that
the
radio
is
in
the
auto
SEEK
tuning
mode
and
ready
to
stop
at
every
strong
station.
Repeat
the
procedure
until
your
desired
station
is
obtained.
When
the
radio
reaches
the
upper
or
lower
end
of
the
band,
it
automatically
starts
scanning
in
the
opposite
direction.
To
return
to
manual
tuning,
press
the
TUNE
switch
a
second
time,
the
SEEK
indicator
disappears.
5.
To
manually
tune,
press
the
Tuning
switch
(UP)
®
for
higher
frequency
broadcasts,
and
press
the
Tuning
switch
(DN)
@
for
lower
frequency
broadcasts.
6.
Adjust
the
VOLume
@,
BASS
©,
TREBle
@,
BALance
@,
and
FADer
80,
to
suit
your
listening
preference.
7.
To
switch
from
FM
to
MW/LW
or
vice
versa,
press
the
TUNER/BAND
select
switch
‘Manual
Memory
Preset
Follow
the
instructions
below
to
memorize
stations
for
preset
tuning.
1.
Select
the
tuning
band
(FM1,
FM2,
MW
or
LW)

with
the
TUNER/BAND
select
switch

2.
Tune
in
your
desired
station
by
manual
tuning
or
Auto
SEEK
tuning.
3.
Press
any
Preset
switch
@
for
more
than
two
seconds.
The
Address
indicator
@
in
the
display
will
begin
to
blink.
Press
that
switch
a
second
time
while
the
indicator
is
blinking
for
five
seconds.
4.
The
preset
number
will
be
memorized
and
will
then
show
in
the
display
@.
NOTE:
lf
a
preset
memory
has
already
been
set
in
the
same
address,
it
will
be
cleared
and
the
new
station
will
be
memorized.

1.
Press
the
TUNE
switch
@
and
light
up
the
A.
MEMO
indicator
@.
2.
Select
the
desired
tuning
band
(FM1,
FM2,
MW
or
LW)

with
the
TUNER/BAND
switch
4.

Press
the
seek
UP
@
or
DN
@
switch.
It
will
automatically
seek
6
strong
stations
in
each
band
and
memory
the
stations
in
order
of
the
signal
strength
from
the
strongest
station
for
the
Address
No.
1
to
the
6th
strong
station
for
the
Address
No.
6.
When
the
station
is
memorized,
the
address
indicator
(No.
1
6)
@
will
appear.
First,
it
seeks
the
stations
in
the
local
tuning.
lf
the
stations
memorized
are
less
than
6,
it
seeks
the
stations
in
the
distance
(DX)
tuning.
