Installation
1. Remove the DETACHABLE FRONT PANEL.
2. Slide the mounting sleeve into the dashboard.
3. Connect each input lead coming from an am-
plifier or equalizer to the corresponding output
lead coming from the left rear of the 7514M/
7514L/7513M/7513L. Connect all other leads
according to details described in the CONNEC-
TIONS section.
4. When the unit is in place, push the tip of the
locking pins up to the horizontal position using
a screwdriver. Now the unit is locked in.
5. Instail the DETACHABLE FRONT PANEL.
NOTE:
Secure the ground lead of the unit to clean me-
tal spot using a screw (x) already attached to the
car chassis. Always reinforce the installation of a
head unit with the metal mounting strap supplied.
See the procedure in Fig. 3.
Remove
1. Remove the DETACHABLE FRONT PANEL.
2. Use a screwdriver to remove the lock pins on
the sides of the unit. (Fig. 2)
3. Pull the unit out, keeping it unlocked as you do
so.
IMPORTANT
Please record the serial number of your unit in the
space provided on the back cover of this manual
and keep it as a permanentrecord. The serial num-
ber plate is located on the bottom of the unit.
Installation :
1. Entfernen Sie die abnehmbare Frontplatte (DE-
TACHABLE FRONT PANEL).
2. Schieben Sie die Montagebuchse in das Arma-.
turenbrett.
3. SchlieBen Sie jede vom Verstarker oder Equa-
lizer kommende Eingangsleitung an die von
links hinten vom 7514M/7514L/7513M/7513L
kommende entsprechende Ausgangsleitung
an. SchlieRen Sie alle anderen Leitungen an.
Einzelheiten hierzu entnehmen Sie bitte dem
Abschnitt ANSCHLUSSE.
4. Wenn Sie das Gerat richtig placiert haben,
schieben Sie die Spitze der Befestigungsstifte
mit einem Schraubenzieher nach unten in die
horizontale Position. Nun ist das Gerat befe-
stigt.
5. Setzen Sie die abnehmbare Frontplatte (DETA-
CHABLE FRONT PANEL) wieder auf.
HINWEIS:
Sichern Sie die Erdungsleitung des Gerates mit
Hilfe einer befestigten Schraube (x) an einem
sauberen
metallenen
Punkt
am
Auto-Chassis.
Verstarken Sie die Installation des Hauptgerates
immer mit dem mitgelieferten Metall-Montagebt-
gel. Siehe Abb. 3.
Ausbau
1. Entfernen Sie die abnehmbare Frontplatte (DE-
TACHABLE FRONT PANEL).
2. Entfernen Sie mit einem Schraubenzieher die
Befestigungsstifte an den Gerateseiten. (Abb.
2)
3. Ziehen Sie das Gerat heraus, wobei Sie es un-
befestigt lassen.
WICHTIG
Bitten notieren Sie die Seriennummer Ihres Gera-
tes an die dafiir vorgesehene auf der Ruckseite
dieser Bedienungsanleitung und heben Sie diese
als dauerhafte Unterlage auf. Das Seriennum-
mernschild befindet sich auf der Gerdteuntersei-
te.
