The SCC tape head provides an exceptionally flat frequency response.
Q.R.B. (QUICK RELEASE BRACKET)
Alpine’s exclusive Q.R.B. design allows for easy removal of the 7516L, while still
maintaining memory. The 7516L may then be carried with the owner for theft
prevention.
A. MEMO (AUTO MEMORY)
In the Auto Memory mode, the 6 strongest FM, MW or LW stations will automatically
be stored in preset memory.
D.A.P. (DIRECT ACCESS PRESET)
D.A.P. allows the storage of FM, MW and LW presets on the same band, eliminating
the need to press the TUNER/BAND button. Up to 6 FM, and MW/LW stations can be
mixed in the D.A.P. Band.
PRESET SCAN (INTELLIGENT PRESET SCAN)
FULL LOGIC DECK WITH TRUE FAST FORWARD AND REWIND
RADIO MONITOR
Allows listening to the FM and MW/LW Tuner section while the tape is in the fast
forward or rewind mode.
M.I.X. (RANDOM PLAY-CD only)
REPEAT (TAPE, CD)
When activated while you are listening to your favorite music selection, the music will
play over and over.
SCAN (TAPE, CD)
It scans quickly and plays the beginning of each music selection for ten seconds.
When you locate the selection of your choice, press the button again to play it till the
end.
BLANK SKIP
By fast advancing the tape, it skips more-than-15-second-long blanks between music
selections or at the end of the tape.
DOLBY* B NOISE REDUCTION
MUSIC SENSOR
Allows you to access the beginning of the current or next musical selection on the
tape using Fast Forward and Fast Reverse.

SELECTABLE FADER
This system allows you to select either the pre-amp or power amp fader mode. The
pre-amp fader controls the signal level in the pre-amp stage for two amplifiers, and the
power amp fader balances the front and rear speaker sound in a four-speaker system
using the unit's internal power.
