148 - Maintenance
Before performing any
action in the engine
compartment, the
ignition must be
switched off (please see the
information on "Starting, stopping
the engine" in Section 2).
Deactivate the Stop and
Start function for any
operation performed in
the engine compartment.
Closing/locking of the engine
access flap
– Check that nothing has been left in
the engine compartment;
– position the engine cover

– remove the stay

and store it in its
housing;
– hold the rear screen at the end

guide it when closing.
To facilitate complete closing of the
rear screen, it is recommended that
you keep the luggage compartment
open.
Most importantly, do not let go of the
rear screen. Guide the rear screen
until it is fully closed. Risk of damage
to the rear screen.
– Tighten the rear screen bolts

– Make sure that the rear screen is
tightened correctly.
