RDS Operation
Displaying Radio Text
Text messages from a radio station can be
displayed.
Tune in a radio station that transmits text
messages.

Press and hold the RDS button for at least 2
seconds in the FM radio mode to activate the
Radio Text mode.
The display shows "R/T WAIT" for a few
seconds.

To deactivate the Radio Text mode, press and
hold the RDS button for at least 2 seconds.
Note: If there is no receivable text message or
the unit cannot receive a text message
properly, the display shows "NO TEXT."
