Displaying a Folder/File Menu List
If a le from the folder menu list is selected:
1 During playback, press TOP MENU.
The folder list in a disc is displayed.
2 Press s or t to select the desired folder and press
ENT.
The le menu list in the selected folder is displayed.
3 Press s or t to select the desired le and press
ENT.
Playback of the selected le starts.
If a le from the le menu list is selected:
1 During playback, press MENU.
The le menu list in the disc folder is displayed.
2 Press s or t to select the desired le and press
ENT.
Playback of the selected le starts.
If a folder name or le name exceeds the display range, the last
character that appears in the display range is displayed as “~”
(tilda accent).
• MP3 folder/ le list is also displayed.
Selecting Folders
Press FOLDER DN or UP to select the folder.
Pausing
1 During playback, press
.
2 Press
to resume playback.
No sound is played during the still mode.
The image or sound may stop temporarily when playback starts
from the pause mode, This is not a malfunction.
• When
on Front Passenger Control is pressed, blue screen
appears temporarily.
Fast-forwarding/Fast-reversing
1 During playback, press and hold (fast-reverse)
or
(fast-forward).
When pressed for more than 1 second, the disc is
forwarded/reversed at double speed.
When held in 5 more seconds, the disc is forwarded/
reversed at 8 times the normal speed.
When held for 10 more seconds, the disc is forwarded/
reversed at 32 times the normal speed
2 Release or to return to normal playback.
No sound appears during fast-forward/fast-reverse.
Finding the Beginning of Chapters or
Tracks-(Files)
During playback, press or .
The chapter/track/ le switches each time the button is pressed,
and playback of the selected chapter/track starts.
: Press this to start playback from the beginning of
the following chapter or track.
: Press this to start playback from the beginning of
the current chapter or track.
Press
repeatedly to start playback from the
beginning of a previous chapter or track.
Some DVDs do not have chapters.
MP3 playback information (folder no., le no., tag information,
ect.) will be displayed on the monitor during playback.
For MP3 discs, some time may be required until playback starts.
Some discs will not play back depending on the writing or MP3
conversion software used for the disc. In that case, try other
software.
The unit can play discs containing both audio data and MP3 data.
The playback time may not be correctly displayed when a VBR
(Variable Bit Rate) recorded le is played back.
JPEG are the same as MP3 controllable from the unit.
