Why won't the pilot light stay lit on my Alpine STi – NG Indoor Fireplace?
    • A
      Amanda AlvarezAug 1, 2025
If the pilot light on your Alpine Indoor Fireplace won't stay lit, it might be because the pilot flame is either too low or too high, causing the pilot safety to shut off. Make sure the pilot flame properly touches both the thermopile and the thermocouple. It could also be due to the pilot needing adjustment or cleaning to ensure it fully surrounds the thermopile and thermocouple.

What to do if my Alpine STi – NG has frequent pilot outage problems?
    • J
      Jeffrey ThomasAug 8, 2025
If you're experiencing frequent pilot outages with your Alpine Indoor Fireplace, the wall switch wires might be grounding out. Check these wires to ensure they are properly insulated and not making contact with any grounded surfaces. Alternatively, the thermopile or thermocouple wires could be grounding out. Trace these wires from the valve to the thermopile, checking for any points where they might be touching the appliance or gas valve.

Why is the pilot burning but no gas to burner in my Alpine STi – NG?
    • P
      petersonaprilAug 16, 2025
If your Alpine Indoor Fireplace pilot light is burning but no gas is reaching the burner, it could be due to a defective automatic gas valve. Ensure that all wire connections at the gas valve terminals are secure, and that the thermopile and thermocouple are fully inserted into the pilot bracket. Another possibility is defective valve wires. Inspect the wires from the valve to the wall switch for any damage or grounding against the appliance or gas supply.

How to fix a spark igniter that won't light the pilot on an Alpine Indoor Fireplace?
    • N
      Natalie BairdAug 23, 2025
If the spark igniter on your Alpine Indoor Fireplace isn't lighting the pilot, first check for a spark at both the electrode and the pilot. If there's no spark, disconnect the wire at the electrode, ground the wire, and try the igniter again. If still no spark, follow the piezo wire to the piezo igniter to identify any potential grounding issues.
