About the divider
Divider (X-Over):
This device is equipped with an active divider. The divider can limit the frequency reaching each output. Each
sound channel can be controlled separately. Therefore, optimized frequency may be used to drive each pair of
speakers.
The divider can be used to adjust the HPF (high-pass filter) or LPF (low-pass filter) of each waveband and the
slope (the speed of the filter towards the peak or valley).
Adjustment should be made based on the reproduction characteristics of the speakers. Depending on the speaker,
the use of a passive network may not be needed. If you are not sure about this, please consult the authorized
Alpine dealer.
