  If all the LEDs on your Altec Lansing Speaker System are unlit, try the following: * Press the Power On button on the System Controller. * Make sure the AC line cord from the back of the Subwoofer is plugged into the wall outlet. * If you're using a surge suppressor, ensure it is switched on. * Connect the System Controller to the Subwoofer. * Plug another device into the wall outlet to ensure it is functioning correctly.

  If you're not getting any sound from the subwoofer of your Altec Lansing Speaker System, consider these potential causes: * If your model has a Subwoofer Volume control, try adjusting it to increase the Subwoofer volume. If your model offers a Bass Selector function on the System Controller, adjust Select Bass function and raise volume level. * The sound source may have very little low-frequency content. If listening to .WAV files, try a CD with more bass. * Check the fuse. Power off the speaker system and unplug the Subwoofer. Unscrew the black cap at the rear and check if the filament is in place. If not, the fuse is blown and needs replacement.
