Display Configuration
This section describes how to configure displays and lists available display
connections for your graphics card.
3.1 Baseplate Connections
The following figure shows the display connections that are available on your AMD
Radeon™ R9 380 Series graphics card.
Note: The baseplate may not appear exactly as depicted.
Figure 3–1 AMD Radeon™ R9 380 Series Display Connections
1 DisplayPort (DP++) connection. Carries video and audio signals to
DisplayPort-compliant devices.
2 HDMI™ connection (Type A). Carries video and audio signals to HDMI-
compliant devices.
3 Dual-link DVI-I connection. Provides video analog and digital signals.
4 Dual-link DVI-D connection. Provides video digital signals.
3.2 Display Adapters
Adapters can be used to connect displays that are not directly supported by the
connection types available on your graphics card.
