The IN-LINE AIR FILTER protects the vacuum system from damage due to dust and dirt.
Replace the filter if it appears to be dirty. The air filter part # is 21783.
CAUTION: Be certain to disconnect power to the unit before performing any maintenance
function to prevent electrical shock.
For MODELS 335 & 340, the air filter is located next to the vacuum pump motor at the rear
of the unit. To gain access to the filter, remove the two Phillips head screws and the sheet
metal panel at the bottom rear of the unit. When finished, be sure to put the panel back and
tighten the two screws.
For MODELS 350, 355, & 370, the air filter is located outside the bottom front drawer, on
the right when standing in front of the unit. To open the drawer, loosen, but do not remove,
the Allen caps with a 3/16” Allen wrench.
