AUTO
DIMMING
TEST:
A Photocell provides the
Auto
Dimming
function.
This can be
tested
by
covering
the
Photocell
by
hand and observing
the
change in
brightness.
NOTE:
1 . There is
an
Adjustment
Potentiometer
located
on
the side
of
the unit.
Adjustment
should be made
when
the
unit
is installed in aircraft, and
with
night
time
lighting
conditions.
2. Rotate the PotentiometElf
clockwise
ta
dim
the
annunciators. Rotate the
Potentiometer
coun~er-clockwise
ta
make the
annunciators
brighter.
3. Do
not
use excessive
inward
force
on
the
alignment
tool, and
do
not
use excessive rotational
force.
Damage
may
result.
