      If the compressor fails to start, wait 3 minutes and check the contactor. Check for 24 volts AC across the contactor coil. If necessary, replace the contactor. Also, check the low voltage transformer and control fuse, repairing or replacing them if needed. Investigate the cause for the failure, looking for possible shorts in the connecting wiring.
