d. Check the sensor wiring to the Interface Module as shown in Step 2 of
Figure 5-4.
e. If the reading is less than 10 ohms, the wiring is probably good—replace
the Interface Module.
f. If the reading is greater than 10 ohms, the problem is outside the 387 sys-
tem. Check the wires that connect the sensor to the Interface Module for
cuts, shorts, loose connections, broken connector pins, etc. and repair as
necessary.
