Why is my Amica PG6510X Cooktop igniter not working?

There are several reasons why the igniter on your Amica Cooktop might not be working. It could be due to a power cut, so check and replace the home power fuse if needed. Alternatively, there might be a gas supply break, in which case you should open the gas cut off valve. A contaminated igniter can also cause this issue, so try cleaning it. Finally, make sure you hold the control knob depressed until the flame goes on and persists.
