  To resolve poor print quality on your AMT Datasouth Barcode Reader, try the following: * Reload the ribbon and media. * Clean the printhead to remove any dust or adhesive. * Adjust the print density and print speed. * If the issue persists, run a printer self-test to check the printhead test pattern for missing dots. Also, ensure that the ribbon and media are compatible. Adjust the printhead pressure adjustment knob.

  If your AMT Datasouth Barcode Reader is skipping labels during printing, ensure that the label size is set up correctly. Also, calibrate the sensor by using the Auto Gap or Manual Gap options. Clear any dust from the GAP/Black mark sensor using a blower or brush.
