9) Remove the new sensor from its packaging. Oxygen sensors are supplied in sealed bags.
Before the bag is opened check that the sensor has not leaked – if it has, then please refer to
the safety information at the start of this section.

10) Insert the new sensor as show in Figure 23, ensuring that the two pins of the new sensor are
away from, but align with the extraction tool alignment rib, as shown in Figure 24.
