Measurements

Measure DC/AC Voltage

Measures voltage above 0.8V; auto-matches DC/AC voltage. Connect probes to correct test points.

Test for Current

Enter current test mode, touch probes to correct test points, and read measured current.

Measure Resistance

Auto-matches resistance; touch probes to desired points and read measured resistance.

Test for Frequency

Enter frequency test mode via Hz button; connect probes to measure frequency.

Measure Temperature

Enter temperature test mode via C/F button; connect probes to measure temperature.

Specific Tests

Continuity Test

Tests continuity automatically; beeps and lights central LED for resistance <500 ohms.

Diode/Continuity Test

Tests diode forward voltage; beeps for short circuits. Displays 'OL' for wrong connections or damage.

Capacitance Test

Uses COM and probe jacks; press twice to test capacitance. Connect probes to terminals for stable value.

Test for NCV

Enter NCV mode by pushing button; beeper sounds and LED twinkles when AC voltage is detected nearby.
