Overview

This document describes the Anko Convector Heater, model DL05L-F, a portable electric heater designed for indoor household use.

Function Description

The Anko Convector Heater functions by converting electrical energy into heat, which is then distributed through convection. It offers various heating modes and temperature settings to provide warmth in a room. The heater is equipped with both a touchscreen panel on the unit and a remote control for convenient operation.

Important Technical Specifications

  • Voltage: 220-240V~50Hz
  • Power Output: 1800-2000W
  • Temperature Regulation Range: 5°C - 45°C
  • Timer Setting Range: 0:30h - 23:30h
  • Heat Output Modes: Low Heat Output (1000W), High Heat Output (2000W)
  • Safety Features: Tip-over switch, thermal cut-out protection (resets automatically), child lock function.
  • Remote Control Battery: CR2025 button cell battery.

Usage Features

General Operation: The heater is designed for indoor use only and must be placed on a flat, horizontal, and stable surface. It should be connected directly to a 220-240V AC electrical outlet and not used with external timers, separate remote control systems, extension cables, or external adaptors. The power switch is located on the side panel of the unit. After switching on, the heater enters standby mode and displays the ambient room temperature.

Power Settings:

  • ON/OFF Button: Turns the heater on and off.
  • Auto Mode: When activated, the heater operates with a default setting temperature of 25°C. In this mode, the heater automatically starts or stops heating to maintain the set temperature, and the user cannot manually adjust the desired temperature.
  • Fan System & High Heat Output (2000W): Activates the fan system and operates at high heat output.
  • Multi-function Switch (MODE button): Cycles through different heating functions:
    • Low Heat Output (1000W)
    • High Heat Output (2000W)
    • Auto Mode
    • Frost Protection Mode: Maintains a default setting temperature of 7°C, activating heating if the room temperature falls below 7°C.
  • Fan System Activation: In Low Heat Output or High Heat Output modes, the fan system can be activated by pressing the Fan button again.

Temperature Setting: The temperature can be set between 5°C and 45°C using the "+" and "-" buttons on either the touchscreen or remote control. Each press adjusts the temperature by 1°C. The setting is memorized after 3 seconds. The heater will only function when the set temperature is higher than the ambient temperature.

Timer Setting: Both a switch ON time and a switch OFF time can be set from 0:30h to 23:30h.

  • TURN ON Timer: While in ON mode and a desired function is selected, pressing the timer button allows setting the time for the heater to switch ON automatically.
  • TURN OFF Timer: While in ON mode, pressing the timer button allows setting the time for the heater to switch OFF automatically. The timer duration increases or decreases by 0.5 hours with each press of the "+" or "-" buttons. The timer symbol will illuminate on the display. The timer can be cancelled by pressing the on/off button or changing the current function setting.

Child Lock Function: Activated by simultaneously pressing the "+" and "-" buttons on the heater's touchscreen for 5 seconds. This function can only be set from the heater itself, not via the remote control. The symbol "CH" will appear on the LED display when active.

Operating Sound: The appliance emits a beep sound with each operation setting.

Remote Control: The remote control provides access to all functions available on the touchscreen panel. It requires a CR2025 button cell battery. When installing the battery, ensure correct polarity and secure the battery compartment. Used batteries should be disposed of safely.

Maintenance Features
