QC / Calibration Checks

Dietary Fiber Analyzer is an automated and highly integrated instrument. Utilizing an on-board computer, the
instrument automatically checks its operation in multiple ways. For example, during each run the instrument automatically
checks for Tube Integrity.
In addition to reviewing assay results, you can determine if the instrument is functioning properly by executing the following
procedures.
Fluid Delivery
You will use the Volume Calibration diagnostic to check and calibrate the Fluid Delivery system. This diagnostic allows you to
verify that the instrument is delivering the correct amount of fluid through the pump. This calibration should be done after
installing new pump tubing. Refer to the Periodic Maintenance section of this manual for further instructions.
To run the Volume Calibration procedure, follow the steps below.
1. Press the Diagnostics button on the screen above. The following screen will be displayed.
2. Press the Service Mode button. The following screen will be displayed.
