TROUBLESHOOTING
The troubleshooting table is used to identify the causes of common problems and how they can be
rectied. Contact the retailer if the problem cannot be rectied with the help of the troubleshooting
table.
PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE ACTION
The humidier will not start. The plug is not plugged in. Plug in the plug.
No water in the reservoir. Fill the reservoir.
The container/reservoir is not
tted correctly.
Fit the container correctly.
The steam from the humidier
smells bad.
The water is dirty, or the
humidier has not been used
for a long time.
Clean the container and pan,
and/or ll with fresh water.
The humidier does
not provide satisfactory
humidication.
The steam outlet is blocked. Set to maximum amount of
steam.
The humidier makes an
abnormal noise.
The humidier is tiled or is
unstable.
Place the humidier on a level,
stable surface.
The warning for lack of water is
on, even though there is water
in the container.
The water in the container runs
to the pan and does not reach
normal run mode.
Wait 1 minute before starting
the humidier.
The warning for lack of water
stays on for a long time, even
though there is water in the
container, and the humidier
does not start.
The humidier has been tilted
so that a low level in the pan
has been registered and the
built-in safety function has
switched o the humidier.
Place the humidier on a level,
stable surface and make sure it
is not tilted.
Leakage of water after lling. The foam plastic cover has not
been removed from the oat.
Before using for the rst time,
remove the foam plastic cover
from the oat.
