What to do if Appion Test Equipment pumps into high pressure shutoff?
    • J
      jameswilcoxJul 30, 2025
If the Appion Test Equipment pumps into high pressure shutoff, there might be an issue with the valves or a restriction in the output hose. First, ensure that both valves on the machine are fully opened, pointing upward, and the valve on the recovery cylinder is also fully opened. Then, inspect the hoses for any blockages and remove any core depressors to ensure proper flow.

How to fix Appion G5 Twin Test Equipment that will not start?
    • B
      Barbara SimsAug 6, 2025
If your Appion Test Equipment isn't starting and there's no sound when you turn the power switch on, consider these potential causes: * **Power Supply:** The power cord might not be properly plugged in, or the outlet may not be providing power. Check the power cord and try a different outlet. * **High Pressure Shutoff:** The machine might be in High Pressure Shutoff. * **Thermal Overload:** The motor could be in Thermal Overload. Allow the motor some time to cool down.

Why Appion G5 Twin machine tries to start, but makes humming/buzzing sound?
    • L
      lgarciaAug 13, 2025
The humming or buzzing sound when starting the Appion Test Equipment could be due to several reasons: * **Low voltage:** The source outlet might have low voltage. Try using a different power source outlet. * **Voltage drop:** There might be a voltage drop in the extension cord. Check the Extension Cord sizing guidelines. * **Back pressure:** Excessive back pressure on the compressor could be the cause. Try starting the machine with the Input Valve closed to reduce back pressure on the compressor.

What to do if Appion G5 Twin pumps liquid slowly?
    • M
      Maria JimenezAug 21, 2025
If the Appion Test Equipment is pumping liquid slowly, consider the following: * **Flow restrictions:** There may be flow restrictions on the input side of the machine. Use 3/8” hoses and remove “Schrader” valve cores and core depressors. * **Input valve:** Ensure the blue Input Valve on the machine is fully open, pointing upward. * **Trapped liquid:** There might be trapped liquid in the system. Cycle the system compressor for a few seconds to move trapped liquid to another area. Also, check for condensation on the system and at hose fittings, and apply heat as needed.
