Conclusion
In this chapter we have discussed Macintosh communica-
tions. We defined the term and reviewed so me examples of it.
We have used th e Ha yes 300 baud modem to co nn ect the Mac
with two large computers and another per sonal computer. In
th e process of doing this, we have learned about the MacTer-
minal emulator application. Since the final version of Mac-
Terminal was not completed at the time of this writing, there
may be
some slight di screpancies between our discussion and
yo ur experience. However, the general principle is the same.
The application is designed to enable th e Mac to mimic a

tandard computer terminal.
