The Get Info comma nd causes a window to be opene d for
the selected icon which displays the following information:
• Type (disk, app lic ation , document , folder)
• Size
• Where it is l oca t ed
• Application which created it (document onl y)
• Date created
• Date last c han ged
• Locked or unlocked (applies to disk only but is always
shown)
The Get Info window for the Memo 4-28 do cument icon is
displayed in figure 3.23.
The Put Back command is used to return any selected
document s, applications, or folders to the di sk or folder from
which they came. We will use the fo ll owing examp le to illus-
trate Put Back usage.
