INSTALLER'S RESPONSIBILITY

Installer Please Note: This equipment has been test fired and inspected. It has been shipped

free from defects from our factory. However, during shipment and installation, problems such as

loose wires, leaks or loose fasteners may occur. It is the installer's responsibility to inspect

and correct any problems that may be found.

WARNING

Install, operate and maintain unit in accordance with manufacturer's instructions to avoid

exposure to fuel substances or substances from incomplete combustion which can

cause death or serious illness. The state of California has determined that these

substances may cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm.

What to do if Applied Air Gas Heater burner does not light?

  If the burner of your Applied Air Gas Heater doesn't light after a 5-second pre-purge, and there's voltage at the ignition control, consider the following: 1. Ensure the manual gas shut-off valve is fully open. 2. Confirm that the inlet gas pressure meets the required level. 3. Verify the gas type (Natural, LP) matches what the heater requires. 4. Check that the auxiliary switch on the starter is closed. 5. Adjust the airflow and external static pressure to match the rating plate if the air flow switches aren't closing. 6. Correct any issues and reset the high-temperature limit switch by pushing the reset button. 7. Address any problems and reset the high or low gas pressure switches. 8. Check for power and replace the main gas valve relay if needed.

  If there's no voltage at the ignition control of your Applied Air Gas Heater, check the following: * Ensure the Heat Off-On switch is in the On position. * Check for power at the burner enable relay (if applicable) and replace if necessary. * If applicable, lower the On-Off inlet ductstat setting if the outside air temperature is higher than this setting. * Check for power at the field purge timer (if applicable) and replace if needed.
